Sedona Sky Treks has been providing air tours and air charter service to the Sedona area since 1994. Tom has been flying for over 20 years and has logged thousands of flight hours ranging from the mountains and glaciers of Alaska to the deserts and canyons of the scenic southwest. Playing golf at Verde Santa Fe Golf Club, a challenging course located across the beautiful Verde Valley from spectacular Mingus Mountain, site of historic Jerome, is like taking a picturesque walk through the high desert.

This new championship course, situated 3,800 feet above the Phoenix metropolitan area, is framed by the vast range of Black Hills that extends from Camp Verde to Cottonwood - and here, where Hogan's wash and other natural arroyos come into play, and where four lakes border the tenth and eighteenth holes, the average temperature is a pleasant 80 degrees. The green fees are relatively low, too!

HUMMER AFFAIR

Hummer Affair has been offering daily tours in Sedona since 2001 and has a 100% safety record, we have never had an accident that damaged a vehicle or injured a passenger since we started.
Our tours cover a full range from mild to extreme. We offer scenic tours on relatively smooth dirt roads, including a magnificent sunset tour as well as “The Jeep Eater” which takes guests on the most extreme 4x4 trails in the Sedona area.
Many tours in Sedona cover the same trails, some of which have so much traffic they seem like freeways. We do not operate on these high traffic trails, rather we offer several unique trail adventures which can only be seen in a Hummer®.

VERDE CANYON RAILROAD

The Verde Canyon Railroad is often referred to as the finest train ride in Arizona and acclaimed as Arizona’s longest-running nature show.

The remote wilderness of the Verde Canyon, located west of Sedona and below Jerome, is renowned for its towering red rock pinnacles and clean, green waters. The train rolls past Indian ruins, through a 680-foot man-made tunnel, over old-fashioned trestles and under clear azure skies. This picturesque setting is further enhanced by the variety of indigenous flora and fauna and the many migrating waterfowl. Over thirty bald and golden eagles winter in this riparian respite each year.

Passengers enjoy this four-hour scenic train ride in first-class style aboard renovated passenger coaches and open-air viewing cars pulled by vintage locomotives.

The Verde Canyon is often called 'Arizona’s other Grand Canyon' with spectacular canyon scenery on a train trip
that offers visual feasts including seasonal spring flowers, fall foliage and hundreds of migratory birds, such as the majestic bald eagle.

A Day in the West - The Complete Western Experience

Start your adventure with a jeep tour in our western canyons; an area that was home to both the Apache and the Sinagua, and the setting for many of the films made in the area. Enjoy a scenic ride to the Dead Horse Ranch State Park for your horseback ride. Relax as you ride along the Verde River under the shade of giant sycamore trees. Your ride will end at the Blazin' M Ranch where you will enjoy an All YOU CAN EAT BBQ dinner, complete with an hour long, Western Dinner & Show. This tour departs from Sedona at 1:15 pm. SKY HIGH BALLOONS

Sky High Balloon Adventures (your friendly hosts) would like to invite you to a once-in-a-lifetime experience ... a wonderful, gentle balloon ride! Offering a delightful and breathtaking flight with qualified seasoned pilots, including FAA certified beautiful balloons and top of the line chase equipment essential for safety and comfort.

Your adventure begins with luxurious pickup for a spectacular sunrise flight. Your pickup time will vary depending on what month you fly. Upon arrival at the launch site you can watch the exciting balloon inflation and launching procedures.

You'll soar through the breathtaking scenery and unforgettable panoramas as you gently lift off and float with the wind. Then enjoy the unique experience of the "Splash 'n Dash" where the balloon descends momentarily on water for a gentle ride. This fantastic flight also offers low contour flying for spotting native wildlife and an ascent for just a hint of high altitude enjoyment. When the balloon sets softly down, you are then taken to a relaxing champagne picnic and presented with a first flight certificate.
